The Consumer Finance Research Center (CFRC) is a research center coordinated by researchers of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" (Rome, Italy) that promotes research and studies on consumer finance by linking together academics, financial authorities, consumers unions and NGOs with the aim to develop high quality research outputs and support regulators and policy makers on financial consumers issues.

The areas of interest of the CFRC include the analysis of consumers' financial knowledge, financial behaviors (the use of financial products), financial education and consumers' protection, including aspect related to the role of technology on consumer financial decisions (FinTech).
